The Gist

FIND IT 360 Limited will collect certain non-personally identify information about you as you use our sites. We may use this data to better understand our users.

We will also ask you to provide personal information, but you’ll always be able to opt out. If you give us personal information, we won’t do anything we wont do anything illegal or unprofessional with it.

We can also use cookies, but you can choose not to store these.

That’s the basic idea, but you must read through the entire Privacy Policy below and agree with all the details before you use any of our sites.

This document is based upon the Automattic Privacy Policy and is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike License 2.5. Basically, this means you can use it verbatim or edited, but you must release new versions under the same license and you have to credit Automattic somewhere (like this!). Automattic is not connected with and does not sponsor or endorse FIND IT 360 Limited or its use of the work.

FIND IT 360 Limited (“FIND IT 360 Limited”) makes available services include our web sites (findit360.uk), our blog, our API, and any other software, sites, and services offered by FIND IT 360 Limited in connection to any of those (taken together, the “Service”). It is FIND IT 360 Limited’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Visitors

Like most website operators, FIND IT 360 Limited collects non-personally- identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. FIND IT 360 Limited’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how FIND IT 360 Limited’s visitors use its website. From time to time, FIND IT 360 Limited may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

FIND IT 360 Limited also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. FIND IT 360 Limited does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below. We may also collect and use IP addresses to block users who violated our Terms of Service.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to FIND IT 360 Limited’s websites choose to interact with FIND IT 360 Limited in ways that require FIND IT 360 Limited to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that FIND IT 360 Limited gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. FIND IT 360 Limited collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with FIND IT 360 Limited. FIND IT 360 Limited does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Additionally, some interactions, such as posting a comment or enquiring on a property or service, may ask for optional personal information. For instance, when enquiring on a property, FIND IT 360 Limited will ask you to provide name, email address and phone so the agent for that property can make contact with you. Supplying such personal information is completely optional, but without at least an email address or a phone number, the agent will not be able to call you back.

Aggregated Statistics

FIND IT 360 Limited may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Service. FIND IT 360 Limited may monitor the most popular parts of the findit36.uk. FIND IT 360 Limited does not display this information publicly nor provide it to others. However, FIND IT 360 Limited does not disclose personally- identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

FIND IT 360 Limited discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally- identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on FIND IT 360 Limited’s behalf or to provide services available at FIND IT 360 Limited’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using the Service, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

FIND IT 360 Limited will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, FIND IT 360 Limited discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when FIND IT 360 Limited believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of FIND IT 360 Limited, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of the Service and have supplied your email address, FIND IT 360 Limited may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date withwhat’s going on with FIND IT 360 Limited and our products. We primarily use our website to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.

If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. FIND IT 360 Limited takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the Service each time the visitor returns. FIND IT 360 Limited uses cookies to help FIND IT 360 Limited identify and track visitors, their usage of FIND IT 360 Limited Service, and their Service access preferences. FIND IT 360 Limited visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using FIND IT 360 Limited’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of FIND IT 360 Limited’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Any visitor can configure their cookie consent, enabling/disabling performance and/or functional cookies. Enabling performance cookies allows FIND IT 360 to collect anonymous usage information via Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel. Enabling functional cookies allows FIND IT 360 to improve upon your use of the site, for example, being able to store local only your name, email address and telephone number.

AWS Cognito

FIND IT 360 Limited uses AWS Cognito to provide secure authentication services. If you register using an email address and password, a unique user account will be created in AWS Cognito.

Your email is the identifier in AWS Cognito. An AWS Cognito pool is dedicated to FIND IT 360 Limited, and moreso, a separate pool between each of the development and test sites, and the production site.

As an assured security identity provider, AWS Cognito protects your account details. FIND IT 360 Limited has no access to your password. Any requests to reset (forgotten) or change your password are done so via AWS Cognito only.

You can unregister from FIND IT 360 Limited, which in turns deletes your account in AWS Cognito.

When you login to the FIND IT 360 Limited app, you set additional user preferences:

  • Telephone
  • Primary service – one of “for sale”, “to let”, “to sale”, “for let”
  • Postcode
  • Subscribe – opt in or out

This information is set against your AWS Cognito account. Only you can change this data; you must be logged in to update.

The telephone, primary service and postcode are used only from within the FIND IT 360 Limited app:

  • Telephone is passed to agent when you enqure on a property or FIND IT 360 Limited service.
  • Postcode is used to locate properties and services nearest you.
  • Primary Service is used as the shortcut to which service to launch when you open the app.

FIND IT 360 Limited accesses the AWS Cognito user pools to obtain a list of registered users and their email addresses, but only those users who have explicitly opt it to “Subscribe”. This information is used when sending promotional emails.

Google APIs

FIND IT 360 Limited uses Google OAuth service to allow users to login using their Google (gmail) accounts. FIND IT 360 Limited awlays presents their known identity (as known by Google), honouring the Google API Services User Data Policy. FIND IT 360 Limited uses AWS Cognito Federated Login service. During first login, we request access to your:

  • email address
  • name, including given (first) name and family name (surname)

AWS creates a unique account in AWS Cognito that is mapped to your Google account using your Google account email address. Once the account has been created, you cannot change your email address.

Your email address and name are used as describe above. Once a linked account has been created, you set additional user preferences as outlined in AWS Cognito above (telephone, postcode).

You can unregister from FIND IT 360 Limited, which in turns deletes your account in AWS Cognito linked to Google; it does not delete your Google Account.

FIND IT 360 Limited does not request access to or use any Google restricted scopes; we do not use your Gmail account to send emails, we do not request access to your cloud drives.

The following Google APIs are used by FIND IT 360:

  • Maps – for displaying location of properties, and to assist directing you to properties
  • Place- for presenting nearest (to the property) train stations

The additional APIs are associated to the properties listed on FIND IT 360 Limited, and do not include the passing of any user details.

Facebook APIs

FIND IT 360 Limited uses Facebook (app) OAuth service to allow users to login using their Google (gmail) accounts. FIND IT 360 Limited awlays presents their known identity (as known by Facebook), honouring the Facebook App Terms of Service requirements. FIND IT 360 Limited uses AWS Cognito Federated Login service. During first login, we request access to your:

  • email address

Google Analytics

FIND IT 360 Limited uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how visitors use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. FIND IT 360 Limited ask Google to provide the information to us about your IP address, language preferences and device and browser information which we use to improve our services. Google will use this information for its own purposes in accordance with its own privacy policy (https://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/policies/privacy/).

You may refuse the use of Google Analytics cookies by opting out from FIND IT 360 Limitied performance cookies.

Facebook Analytics

FIND IT 360 Limited uses Facebook Pixel, a web analytics service provided by Facebook, Inc. (Facebook). Google Pixel uses cookies to analyse how visitors use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Facebook on servers in the United States. FIND IT 360 Limited ask Facebook to provide the information to us about your IP address, language preferences and device and browser information which we use to improve our services. You may refuse the use of Facebook Pixel cookies by opting out from FIND IT 360 Limitied performance cookies.

Local Storage

FIND IT 360 Limited uses your browser’s local storage to store functional aspects of how you interact with the application; for example:

  • if you have opted to remember you are logged in
  • to store your contact details when enquiring about properties or FIND IT 360 Limited services (e.g. Airbnb Concierge)
  • to skip already seen notices, for example, updates to Terms of Service and Privacy Notice.

This local storage is also used by AWS Cognito to store your identify, once you have logged in.

You may refuse the storing of any information locally by opting out from FIND IT 360 Limitied functional cookies.

Data Storage

FIND IT 360 Limited uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service. You understand that although you retain full rights to your data, it may be stored on third party storage and transmitted through third party networks.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, FIND IT 360 Limited may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in FIND IT 360 Limited’s sole discretion. FIND IT 360 Limited encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
